December 11, 2019   Over the past few weeks I have been discovering and sharing additional information to our existing  History page. I have gathered a lot of MWR History over the years and have been wanting to link more information for others to enjoy. Some had appeared on our old site but I never got it added to this new site.   Major current changes are the National Officers from the Midwest Region links and the Faces & Memories thru the years section. This page is always a work in progress. Check out what is currently shared!  Please note that I have almost completed the Point Standings for most years. I was not able to find standings information for 1987 or 2003...just the Champions. Send me any information if you have any and I'll get them posted.  I am still in need of pictures for some of the Regional Officers and the Men's & Ladies' Champions. I would love to get that area completed.  Please note that if you have copies of the missing Summer 1998 and both 2002 MWR Newsletters, share them with me so I can complete that section.

A little MWR website history BEFORE December 11, 2019   The MWR website first became live way back in September 2002 and I am pleased to be the only MWR Webmaster. Since the beginning, with help from Officers, Governors and Members, the site has morphed into a great tool for all of us. Besides pages to keep us in touch with our Clubs and keep up with each year's Meetings, Events and Accomplishments, it has also become a showcase for who we are for the rest of the world and a depository for all kinds of information.   Sometime in 2004 I had started a History page on our initial web site that was hosted with a company that afforded us limited space and capabilities. Those pictures that I had posted back then are now included in the 2004 and 2005 links in the new Faces and Memories section of the History page. More to come!   On April 15, 2007 when we moved our site over to a Hosting Company with much more space and capabilities, I was able to take the time necessary to reformat and recode all of the existing critical pages but I had not yet had the time to redo the Photo Gallery and History pages. The History page was soon to follow and the Photo Gallery is now incorporated into the History page sections.   Our new Hosting Company in 2015 afforded us even more capabilities with unlimited space and unlimited bandwidth.
